Your task is to remap the brain by following the faint traces of memory latent in the brain cells and guided by your digital data stores - going from neuron to neuron, level to level and stage to stage. Along the way, be careful to clean out any plaques that may have formed during the patient's earlier life and watch out for macrophages! Unless you use your electrified shell during such encounters, your nanobot may be destroyed and you will have to start the process over.
